Established in 1996, Body Doc Healing Center, is a multi- disciplinary health center conveniently located in the heart of El Segundo at the corner of Grand and Main. Owned and operated by Dr. Vincent Marcel, Body Doc was created to serve the public by providing education about how the body works and why treatment to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors is so vital. Body Doc teaches patients that the spinal cord allows the brain to communicate to all the organs and cells in the body, and a chiropractor checks the spine to make sure there is no interference with this communication process.
The Body Doc Team is comprised of Clinic Director and chiropractor Dr. Vincent Marcel, Dr. Paul D'Alfonso, Brian Barrett and Sandra Breceda licensed therapists and Daniela Budevski and Francie Thomas, our chiropractic assistants. Body Doc Team members all receive Macro Care. This consists of full neurological evaluation, chiropractic care, clinicial nutritional response testing and lifestyle fitness care. The team has a strong belief in self healing and are exposed to innate philosophy on a regular basis.
At Body Doc Healing Center, the message is clear, all patients whether acute, chronic or lifestyle maintenance will receive Macro Care vs. micro care. We look at the whole person - structually, chemcally and nutritionally. When the spine is out of alignment (vertebral subluxation) a chiropractic adjustment is given and the innate healing begins. The services we provide include: chiropractic care, Clinical Nutritional Response Testing (CNRT), myofascial release, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, acupuncture, physiotherapy, detox footbath therapy, pre and post surgical rehabilitation, injury prevention and therapeutic exercise.
Pregnant moms are seen throughout their pregnancy and encouraged to begin Chiropractic Care and CNRT immediately with their newborns. Pediatric patients will receive spinal exams as early as upon their delivery. The birthing process is an arduous experience for both mother and infant, and therefore both should be checked regularly.
Body Doc participates in annual community fund-raisers. Our patients collect canned foods for the C.A.S.E. food drive and toys are collected for the "Toys for Tots" drive. These fund-raisers are held during the holiday season and proceeds are donated to needy families.
Body Doc goes on the road to serve at neighboring businesses by offering complimentary weeks of care. This is an opportunity for employees to learn about how the body works and how chiropractic care can help benefit their lives forever.
